You only have one chance to capture your wedding. When the
flowers and food are gone, and the music is over, the
photographs are all that is left for a lifetime of memories.
Pretty straightforward, and pretty scary if you think about
it, these are images that can never be reshot.
Though I sometimes take some group photos, during my normal
coverage I don't pose or set up my pictures. A wedding
should be more than a series of poses. My objective is to
make images that fairly depict the feel of the day and
reflect the personalities of those involved, something more
challenging but far more rewarding in the future.
However, that being said, for "Storybook Albums," you will
need two photographers at the wedding and/or reception, me
doing my work and the other professional photographer (not
assistant) specializing in a more traditional formal, posed
imagery.
My work is unobtrusive. I capture people as they are, and it
is difficult to do this if I am drawing attention to myself,
as "the photographer." I concentrate on the bride and groom,
but also on your friends, what is happening around corners
and over the hedges. My images will help you recall the day
and learn of things you never saw.
Most of my clients are looking for a different approach to
wedding photography; they have forsaken the "Traditional
Wedding Album" and embraced story telling imagery. Even your
final "Album" is more of a personalized coffee table book.
From start to finish, your day will be unique, captured, and
remembered that way. |
